Saturday, April 5 9am-9:30am WOODPECKER WALK Several species of woodpecker make Crowley's Ridge State Park their home. Join a park interpreter for a stroll and learn different ways to spot them. Meet at the Visitor Center.
Saturday, April 5 2pm-3pm WILD EGG HUNT Animal eggs are nature's tiny survival kits designed to help baby animals grow strong and safe. Join a park interpreter to find five of these animals' eggs hidden along the trails at Crowley's Ridge State Park. First, we will meet at the Visitor Center and then go on each trail to find the posted eggs. Can't join the program? No worries. Wild Egg Hunt can be enjoyed as a self-guided program throughout the entire month of April. Pick up the progress tracker from the Visitor Center and take a picture of yourself next to each egg that you find. Then, bring the completed progress tracker along with your picture proof to the Visitor Center for a prize! Please bring your own smartphone or photographing device. All of the eggs are hidden along the trails. Wear hiking shoes/boots and bring water. Follow Leave No Trace principles in the park, and please leave posted eggs (and any live eggs you may discover) where you find them. Meet at the Visitor Center.

Saturday, April 12 9am-1pm CROWLEY'S RIDGE STATE PARK SPRING CLEANUP Calling all volunteers to participate in Crowley's Ridge State Park Great Arkansas Cleanup! Please meet at the visitor center to register and receive instructions on what section of the park is needing attention. This is a drop-in event. We're happy to have you as long as you'd like! Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Bringing your own water bottles and snacks is recommended. T-shirts are available while supplies last. Meet at the Visitor Center.
