Friday Night Magic - Teens are invited to an afternoon of trading card gaming. Both seasoned pros and new players looking to learn are invited to play Magic the Gathering. Teens may bring their own desk or play with one of ours. Get free trading cards, enjoy some snacks, and meet up with friends every third week of the month on Friday.

ACT Practice Test - Teens can pre-register online or in-person for the free ACT Practice Test. Teens attending will enter through the Round Room After Hours Entrance on the library's Madison Street side.

Adult Nature Printing on Fabric - In celebration of Earth Day, registered attendees will receive fabric napkins to make custom printed and functional art to reduce the use of paper towels using fruit and vegetables. Registration is required.

Kids Citizen Science Club - Kids will find out how they can gather data and help real scientists around the world with their own observations. This month we will feature three citizen science initiatives that are fun, easy, and help us all learn more about the world we live in. This program is for grades K through 6. Adult Sketchbook Club Night - This dedicated, laid-back hour provides adults with an opportunity to connect with other artists and work on improving their art skills. Participants are welcome to bring their own materials or use those provided by the library. Registration is not required.

Round RoomRecord Sealing Clinic - The CCJPL, in collaboration with Legal Aid of Arkansas, will host a free Record Sealing Clinic. This clinic will provide an opportunity for individuals to meet with legal professionals to begin the process of sealing eligible records. An outdoor Resource Fair will be held alongside the clinic, featuring a variety of local community organizations offering support services. Participants may access the event through the Madison Street entrance leading directly to the Round Room. Registration is not required.

Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library Announces 2025 Concert Series 

(Jonesboro, AR) The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library is excited to announce the return of its Concert Series in 2025. The library will host three live performances throughout the year, offering free entertainment for the community.

The first concert will feature Jubilation Jazz band on Thursday, May 22, at 6 p.m. The second performance will showcase American Idol contestant and Northeast Arkansas native Marybeth Byrd on Thursday, September 18, at 6 p.m. Details for the third concert performance will be announced soon.
